It is worth starting with the fact that for the first time in the history of the game the action of the game begins in peacetime, one sunny morning. Looking in the mirror, our hero (or heroine) communicates sweetly with his soul mate – and at the same time the player generates his character, choosing his appearance, gender, skin color and eye cut. They will show us a sort of idyll – and immediately destroy it: this morning the nuclear war began just this morning. Once in the zone of defeat of the explosion, we nevertheless survive, we get into the shelter 111 and leave it … after 200 years. Why the hero is not old and does not resemble a mutated ghoul? What happened to him? We have to look for answers to these questions.
Well, then begins a long and dangerous journey through the environs of the post -apocalyptic Boston. Moreover, apparently, the longest in the history of the series. Todd Howard (TODD HOWARD), Chapter Bethesda Game Studios, calls the world implemented in Fallout 4, “The biggest of all ever created” developers. In support of his words, the authors tell the story of how one of the studio employees, testing the game, could not open all the sights and interesting places in 400 hours. To explore all this alone, it would probably be too dangerous for our nervous system, but, thank God, the player will be allowed again to accept partners in his company. You start a trip with a faithful dog. Moreover, this time it will be possible to give different commands to him so that the dog, for example, gets into some ruined house and brings a couple of steampicks in his teeth. If desired, this duet will be eternal: the companions, as the authors confirmed, will not be able to die, even if they receive a charge of fractions in the face.
Crazy pens
You are traveling in proud loneliness or with faithful partners, you won’t have to get bored – mutants, ghi, clamps, looters and bandits from a large post -core road, the claws of death and thugs chained into power armor will provide us with a maximum of bright impressions. The battles use the mechanics familiar in the third part – this is all the same shooter in real time with the ability to put the battle at any time (in Fallout 4 Time does not stop completely, but slows down) in order to aimed, with a certain chance of hitting, aim at the enemy in the leg, tail, head or even weapons. However, in the fourth part they will clearly be even more dynamic and more diverse.
The enemies are wiser, the same brotings will learn to crawl out of the holes, the T-60 power armor will become more functional, you can use jetpack and fade from a machine gun from the side of a flying “turntable”. In addition, the authors assure that they processed the shooting mechanics, and now the battles are even more reminiscent of a high -quality shooter.
And most importantly, the arsenal of the assaults of the murder will expand significantly. First of all, thanks to a new and very detailed “crafting” system and modification of equipment-almost every item can be disassembled if you wish to make something new or modify the “barrel”, ammunition and armor.
So, with a light movement of the hand here, the baseball bat is acquired by circular saws, the laser pistol turns into a sniper rifle, the “fat man” receives a muffler, and your ordinary weapon begins to shoot with plush bears. In total, the game
will have 50 basic weapons models and more than 700 different modules for them. And each “trunk” or bit will be allowed to rename and name in its own way-no one will limit your violent imagination.
PIP-Boy will be built into mini-games that parody the well-known classics, such as Donkey Kong and Beach Head.

In general, one gets the impression that the main character Fallout 4 used to be an engineer or some hereditary builder. After all, he will have to – and this is the most important innovation – not just to equip his house in a post -core village, but to rebuild his own settlement.
Here the authors were clearly focused on the now fashionable “sandboxes” about survival. First, we collect everything that lies badly: all garbage, boards, tires, wires, batteries, reinforcement and so on. And then a couple of simple movements we make new walls, doors, ceilings and roofs, some generators, irrigation plants and turrets from this. We choose the layout ourselves, place all this, erect at home, plant trees and all kinds of useful plants, connect the generators and organize the defense to protect the settlement from the entrusted raider seizures.
Without such construction activities, it will be possible to go through the campaign, but difficult: the better your settlement is organized and protected, the more it brings money and resources. After all, new residents and sellers will come here, you can establish trade with other villages and even send caravans.
Interestingly, the effectiveness and availability of buildings will depend on the character parameters, for example, on “leadership”. In addition, the developed skill of Barter will make it more profitable to trade with other settlements. In general, the role system will remain without any changes-all the same PIP-Boy on the forearm, familiar characteristics like “strength”, “endurance” and “charisma”, the usual “perks” for all occasions. Although it is possible that the skills will now rely on a certain ranking system.
Developed Fallout 4 on the modified engine Creation Engine. According to the certificates of the authors, in visual terms, the game will take a new step in the series, which will allow us to plunge better into the virtual world, and everything is like that. However, we have not yet noticed a sophisticated graphics in trailers, but the directing and setting of dialogs compared to Fallout 3 And New Vegas really stepped forward: now we do not just see the monologue of the speaker, but observe live scenes with different camera angles, gestures and a complete voice acting, including the main character, in general, all that is already considered the standard for AAA-Class projects today.
